TEHRAN (Tasnim) - An Israeli attack targeted an apartment building in Sidon (aka Saida) in southern Lebanon, killing Hamas leader Hassan Farhat and two others.

Farhat was in the apartment on Dalaa Street in downtown Sidon when it was bombed by an Israeli drone early Friday morning, Al Mayadeen reported.
The Israeli forces had launched several raids since the evening on areas in southern Lebanon, including al-Naqoura, Nabatieh, and Sidon, resulting in damage to the targeted areas.
On Thursday, the Israeli forces targeted a car in the city of Bint Jbeil, resulting in two injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The Israeli regime has continued with the breach of a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon since November 27, 2024, with more than 2,000 violations recorded, including blatant attacks on areas in the south, the Bekaa Valley, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
