KHARTOUM -- Sudan's removed Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok was reinstated on Sunday after he and Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, general commander of the Sudanese Armed Force, signed a political declaration to end the current political crisis, the official Sudan TV reported.

TEHRAN -- At least six people were injured after a fire broke out in the Oil and Gas Exploitation Company of Masjed Soleiman city in Iran's southwestern Khuzestan province on Sunday, according to a statement by the company.

In the incident, an employee of the company suffered burns injuries who was sent to Ahvaz city for further treatment, said the statement. (Iran-Incident)


TUNIS -- Tunisia on Sunday started the seventh national open day for COVID-19 vaccination across the country's 24 provinces for citizens aged 18 and over.

A total of 354 vaccination centers across the North African country were set up for the open day, and the vaccination started from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. local time. (Tunisia-COVID19-Vaccination)


TRIPOLI -- Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah announced on Sunday that he is running for president.
