TEHRAN -- Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have closed two cases of outstanding differences regarding Iran's nuclear program after technical negotiations, Iran's official news agency IRNA reported on Tuesday.

One of the cases pertains to the IAEA's claim that there has been an "undeclared nuclear site" in the southern Iranian city of Abadeh in Fars Province, the IRNA quoted informed sources as saying. (Iran-IAEA-Disputes-Closure)

KHARTOUM -- Sudanese army chief Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan on Tuesday warned that the army would use "full lethal force" against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) if the latter does not respond to the voice of reason.

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has ordered the country's foreign ministry to take necessary measures to resume and develop diplomatic relations with Egypt.

Iranian government spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi made the remarks when answering a question from reporters about the likelihood of resuming the ties at a weekly press conference in Tehran on Tuesday, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported. (Iran-Egypt-Normalization)

BEIRUT -- The Lebanese army on Tuesday announced that a Saudi Arabian citizen who had been kidnapped in Lebanon's capital Beirut was already freed.

A statement released by the army said the man was freed on Sunday by an Intelligence Directorate's patrol which launched an operation on the Lebanese-Syrian border to rescue him, while a number of those involved in the crime were arrested. (Lebanon-Saudi Citizen-Kidnapping)
