PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 2, His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, received Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amanee. The two discussed recent developments in the region.
The ambassador presented an overview of Iran's current situation and outlined Tehran's approach to establishing peace in the region.
The meeting also touched upon Armenian-Iranian cooperation and its future prospects.
At the conclusion, Ambassador Amanee announced that he is completing his diplomatic mission in Lebanon and will soon return to Iran.
Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan met with Iran's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami, and congratulated him on his appointment. They discussed the development of interparliamentary ties and topics of regional interest.
