TEHRAN (Tasnim) The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt called for concerted action by the Islamic nations to stop the Israeli genocidal crimes in Gaza and stressed the need for the Zionist forces to withdraw from southern Lebanon.
- Politics news -In a telephone conversation on Thursday night, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty talked about the latest regional and international developments.
The two ministers also discussed the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza under the relentless Israeli siege of the enclave and the Zionist regimes aggressive plot to escalate its military attacks and occupy the entire Gaza Strip.
Araqchi and Abdelatty stressed the need for effective measures by the Islamic countries to stop the genocide in Gaza and ensure the immediate delivery of international humanitarian aids into the enclave.
The Iranian and Egyptian ministers also talked about the latest developments in Lebanon.
They stressed the need to preserve the atmosphere of trust and internal coordination among the Lebanese political factions and avoid the measures that could trigger domestic tensions.
Araqchi and Abdelatty emphasized the necessity for the complete withdrawal of the Israeli forces from the occupied regions in southern Lebanon and for a halt to the Zionist regimes military strikes against Lebanon.
